Hi Sandy

The pictures might have been even better but I had just changed the battery and it was set on landscape I didn't dare lower it to check for fear the magpie would see the movement. However I was really happy with the photos. I have never seen a magpie bathe with quite this much vigor. It was a warm day with a chinook, after this magpie finished two others hopped in to drink and preen a bit but they did nothing approaching this.
