Autumn

Fall Wind

Pods of summer crowd around the door;
I take them in the autumn of my hands.

Last night I heard the first cold wind outside:
the wind blew soft, and yet I shiver twice:

Once for thin walls, once for the sound of time.

I see you have some beautiful color! I haven't shot any foliage yet, guess I had better get on it.

It is coming, isn't it. While I am longing for the coolness and the color, I am dreading the snow that follows! Still, it will be the time of cozy wood fires and hot cocoa. We have all been through this before and we will get through it again. Lovely images. Stay warm!

Hi Sandy

Our fall colour starts sooner and lasts for a much shorter time than when I lived down east so I thought I better get on it.

Happy fall.

Hi Kathie

Well we have a bit of time left before the snow falls and autumn is so beautiful, well worth looking forward to even if winter follows.

And winter is great for photography so many lovely blues.
